What is Koala?
Koala helps identify website visitors, similar to Identity Matrix. However, it's limited to about 20% of anonymous web visitors. Due to this limited data, it doesn't provide analytics, attribution, or customer journey analysis. Instead, it's primarily a lead generation tool.
How does Koala pricing compare to Identity Matrix?
Koala is more expensive on a per-record basis than Identity Matrix. With limited data, they have to charge more for each visitor identified. They also, like RB2B and Warmly, charge a credit for every single visitor identified. Identity Matrix only charges for leads you hand-select or that meet your decided lead score threshold.
How easy is it to implement Koala?
Koala, like Identity Matrix, is very easy to implement. You copy and paste and small script that goes onto your website directly or via Google Tag Manager. From there, set up your integrations and you're off to the races. However, Identity Matrix offers the ability to set up lead scoring, page intent, and has more integrations.
What is the difference in contact information provided by Koala and Identity Matrix?
Identity Matrix provides personal and work email, LinkedIn, address, and most importantly, the most accurate mobile phone data on the market. Everything is verified in real-time. On the other hand, Koala only provides some LinkedIn profiles and occasional emails.
How do Koala and Identity Matrix identify web visitors?
Koala primarily whitelabels other companies' cookie matching. However, as cookies become less reliable thanks to Google and Apple privacy changes, the identification rate is expected to further decline. Identity Matrix uses complex digital fingerprinting and AI to match more than cookies: device IDs, hashed emails, MAIDs, etc. This keeps the company's identity resolution sky high even as privacy laws come down.
